How VNFUNDED verifies EAs
One process for every EA. Nobody — not even an admin — can edit results, scores or rankings.

1. Raw data cannot be edited
The MT5 tracker (data-only, never trades) sends a heartbeat and an account snapshot (balance, equity, margin, floating P/L, open positions) about every 60 seconds, plus every deal and every deposit/withdrawal. Each record has a unique ID, and raw data is locked at database level — nobody can edit or delete it.
2. Two ways to collect data
Independent tracking (recommended): the account owner provides the investor (read-only) password. VNFUNDED runs MT5 and the tracker on its own servers, so the owner cannot touch the data pipeline. The password is encrypted with AES-256-GCM; if anyone enters a trading password by mistake, it is detected and deleted immediately. Developer-installed tracker: faster to set up, and still subject to all the integrity and identity checks below.
3. Right account, right EA
Login, server and currency reported by MT5 must match the registration. Every deal is assigned to exactly one EA by magic number and/or comment prefix. If a deal matches more than one EA, the system never guesses — the deal is excluded and flagged as an anomaly.
4. Data integrity (0–100%)
Heartbeats 15% · snapshot coverage 30% · trade traceability 30% · valid timestamps 10% · cash-flow reconciliation 15%. The track record starts when our server receives the first snapshot — it cannot be back-dated.
5. Requirements for “Verified”
Real-money account · matching account and EA identity · at least 30 days tracked · at least 100 closed trades · integrity of 99% or more · tracker online · no serious anomalies. A suspended EA goes back to tracking and has to qualify again from scratch.
6. Returns exclude deposits and withdrawals
Returns are time-weighted on equity: deposits, withdrawals and credits are removed from performance. Max drawdown is measured on equity. Profit factor = gross profit ÷ gross loss. Win rate excludes break-even trades.
7. VNF Score (100) and Risk level (1–10)
VNF Score: return 20 · max drawdown 25 · profit factor 15 · consistency 15 · live track record 10 · sample size 5 · risk stability 10. Risk level: max drawdown 25% · average drawdown 10% · losing streaks 10% · lot-size variation 10% · margin 10% · exposure 10% · DCA/Grid/Martingale 15% · drawdown speed 10%.
8. Nobody can edit the scores
Admins can approve EAs, review anomalies and revoke licenses — but there is no function to edit performance, the VNF Score, the risk level or rankings. Every admin action is written to the audit log with a reason.
